Taking the above scripture and applying it locally, you would think of Jerusalem and Judea as the immediate Metro East, O’Fallon, Belleville, Fairview Heights, Shiloh and Swansea. Then when you think of Samaria you would go a little further out into East St Louis, Collinsville, St. Louis and then further out into other states within our country. But Jesus also said “to the ends of the earth.” With that we reach out into various countries through the support of missionaries and also by sending missionaries. 

Part of our mission at Skyline Church is to exist outside of our four walls. We believe that the church was never intended to simply gather together one day a week for worship. We gather to be refreshed and recharged so that we may be more effective in reaching our local community, our nation, and the world with the love of God.
